The drinking water supply in the event of a disaster must ensure the purity of the water. But the quality of the test results clearly depends on the laboratory environment. The SAS-LAB provides a mobile and autonomous solution that ensures air-tight and sterile work environment in a decentralised manner in all possible surroundings. Depending on the application, the mobile laboratory can be equipted with the necessary test equipment and instruments (such as an incubator or steriliser) and easily transported to the place of use. The SAS-LAB can also be equipped with various instruments for sampling and sample processing, for serological and epidemiological analyses for disease control and prevention, as well as for the detection of potential and actual contamination of food and medicines by pesticides, poisons, toxins or other chemicals. The SAS-LAB is designed for outdoor use under the most adverse conditions. Accordingly, it works temporarily without power connection, as the power for the device is supplied by an internal battery.
